Woodstock Orchards LLC, located in the picturesque rolling hills of Woodstock, CT, has been a cherished family-owned and operated fruit and vegetable retail stand since 1958. Originally purchased by Harold Bishop, who grew up on Bishops Orchard in Guilford, CT, Woodstock Orchards has become a testament to his dream of owning his own farm.

 

Now under the stewardship of the next generation, Douglas and Donna Young, the orchard has flourished. All of Doug and Donna's boys have worked on the farm, and the future generation is actively involved in the business today. Their son Eric Young and his family bring a vibrant influx of new ideas and knowledge to the orchard, including the addition of our new farm-fresh bakery. Doug has also expanded the farm's offerings by introducing greenhouses to extend the growing season and increasing the variety of crops, including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, melons, and specialty garlic.

 

Each summer, we proudly offer our renowned asparagus, considered the finest in Windham County, alongside a selection of farm-fresh vegetables and fruits. Our peaches and plums, harvested in July and August, are sold exclusively at our retail store, ensuring the freshest produce for our customers. Woodstock Orchards continues to grow and innovate, producing four times more than in its early days, while maintaining the tradition of quality and care that has been our hallmark for generations.
