Our cider is processed through a series of UV lights, rather than pasteurized, to ensure safety and flavor meeting regulatory and our own high standards. It is fresh pressed with no preservatives or additives.

Asparagus is a member of the lily family, along with onions, leeks and garlic. Five ounces of asparagus contain 60% of the recommended daily intake of folic acid, which prevents heart disease and birth defects. It's also an excellent source of thiamin and vitamin B6.

Corn is grown by our friends and picked daily at local Chase Road Growers who have mastered the art of growing sweet corn. Call us to place advance orders for larger quantities for party events or freezing.

Good quality cucumbers should be firm, well-shaped and have an even, dark green color and uniform size. Our cucumbers are untreated/unwaxed. Cucumbers should be stored in the refrigerator where they will keep for several days.

We offer classic and fingerling varieties of eggplant. Eggplants are very perishable. Place uncut, unwashed eggplant in a plastic bag and store in refrigerator crisper where it will keep for a few days.

Store fresh garlic in either uncovered or loosely covered container in a cool, dark place away from exposure to heat and sunlight. It is not necessary to refrigerate garlic.

Store onions in well ventilated space at room temperature, away from heat and bright light. Except for green onions, do not refrigerate.

Refrigerate melons, ideally in crisper bin for up to 5 days.

Ripening Melons - Store slightly under-ripe melons in a pierced paper bag at room temperature for a few days. Adding an apple to the bag will coax the fruit into ripeness. A ripe melon will give slightly when pressed on the stem end and will produce a delicate fragrance from the blossom end. Once it does so, store in the refrigerator.

Storing Ripe, Uncut Melons - Despite their hardy appearance, melons are quite perishable. Keep ripe melons away from other fruit so that the ethylene gas that they produce does not speed up the fruit's ripening. Uncut ripe melons should keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Storing Cut Melons - When storing a halved melon, leave the seeds in to help keep it fresh. Once you've cut into a melon, wrap the remainder in plastic and it should keep in the fridge for about 3 days.

Store peaches at room temperature until ripe, once ripe refrigerate in a plastic bag. Canning peaches are available at times during the season. Call for availability.
